High Octane Rockin' Blues Mixed With The Contemporary Sounds Only Shane Dwight Can Deliver.

Just 6 months after forming the band, Shane Dwight's career was catapulted by his win at the 1st Monterey Bay Blues Festival Battle Of The Bands!!! Now Shane goes on to contend as a Semi-Finalist at the 2007 International Blues Challenge (IBC)!!! With over 45,000CD's sold as of 2006, the Shane Dwight Band has been catapulted to the forefront of the West Coast Music Scene. Though he has only been singing and fronting his own band for a few years, continuous media exposure, "good press" and lots of radio play on local and Nationwide syndicated radio shows such as King Biscuit Radio, and Dan Aykroyds House of Blues Radio Hour, Sirius Radio & XM Radio, has afforded Shane the opportunity to play extensively throughout the U.S. as he builds a loyal fan base in every city he plays. Shane is fast gaining the reputation of an excellent showman and is performing at a maturity level well beyond his years. Shane and his band have appeared at prestgious concerts all over the United States, such as, the Montery Bay Blues Festival, Springing the Blues Festival in Florida, Tulsa Oklahoma Blues Festival, Sunbanks Rhythm & Blues Festival in Washington, Reno Blues & Brews Festival, San Diego Blues Festival, Portland Oregon Waterfront Blues Festival, San Francisco Jazz Festival, Willamette Folk Festival, Mardi Gras in Downtown San Diego, Central Valley Blues Festival, San Jose Comcast Jazz Festival, San Jose Metro Fountain Blues Festival, Shasta Blues Festival, the Redwood Coast Jazz Festival, Blues By The Bay (Eureka) etc.etc. The Shane Dwight Band has also performed at world famous nightclubs, Disneyland Theme Parks and worked on a television show for Microsoft.

Though Shane's music is blues based, the bands ability to cross over to a variety of different audiences is evidenced in their current concert shcedule which has them working at venues as diverse as County Fairs, Disneyland Theme Parks, opening for Major Country, Blues and Rock Stars and appearing as the house band on Microsoft's Nationally Broadcast television show, "Microsoft Insider LIVE." Shane is a charismatic and supremely talented guitarist, soulful vocalist, prolific songwriter and one of the brightest young up-and-coming stars on the rock/blues scene today. Concert promoters from around the United States as well as Europe recognize and appreciate the potential of Shane and his band and are expecting great things in their future.

Lead Guitar & Vocals-Shane Dwight- Shane keeps it coming all night long! With a schedule like his you wonder how he gets the energy to perform on stage as aggressively as he does. Wicked guitar, soulful vocals, and a captivating stage presence keep the crowd wanting more, more, more!

On Bass Guitar- Chris Akin, one of the West Coasts best kept secrets! Chris, known for his seamless groove and solid root oriented bass lines, honed his ability playing in countless Bay Area blues bands.

On Drums- Jerome Kimsey, The Powerhouse drumming of this seasoned veteran is the result of performances and recordings with the likes of Johnny Winter, T-Bone Walker and The Pointer Sisters.

On Rhythm Guitar- Robby Z, an accomplished songwriter and sessions player, he completes the band with his high energy rhythm guitar playing. Robby's recent studio works include the likes of Tommy Thompson (Greg Allman Band), Chris Miller (Dave Menikettie Band), Linda Davis (Reba McEntire) and Brad Gillis of Night Ranger.

On Piano-Steve Dore- The newest member of SDB and truely a match made in heaven! He's got that magic touch and is casting spells on all the SDB fans.

In recent performances, Shane has shared the bill with world class acts such as John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, Taj Mahal, Bobby 'Blue' Bland, Marshall Tucker, Elvin Bishop, Dave Mason, The Supremes, Jefferson Starship, Terrie Clark, The Greg Kihn Band, Big Bill Morganfield (Muddy Waters Son), Bob Margolin, Dennis Quaid, Indigenous, Brad Gillis of Ozzy Osbourne, Night Ranger, Johnny Winter, John Lee Hooker Jr., Tommy Castro and Robert Randolf & the Family Band.
